Wake up! Wake up!
Then we will become good friends,

Shiatsu – literally “finger pressure” – is a Japanese massage practice founded in 1940. The technique involves using fingers and palms to apply pressure to the body in order to correct imbalances and restore energy flow. The massage is not only relaxing but in use with meditation can stimulate the mind and invigorate the spirit.

On my last trip I arrived with a painful sprain. I soon arranged with Bridget Scott for a session at her studio.

Not only was it a restorative session, but I was also able to combine it with a visit to the gardens at Shisen-do and around the corner, the Hachidai Shinto Shrine associated (possibly) with the famed samurai Miyamoto Musashi.
